Michael Barnett made Aliyah from the UK in 1997 becoming a resident of Ramat Beit Shemesh in 1999. Michael has been a member of Kehillat Ahavat Tzion since the very first Minyan! This is his second time serving the community on the Vaad and we are as grateful as he is honored to serve this wonderful community. Michael is looking to help build on the solid foundation of previous work of the Vaadot and to help Kehillat Ahavat Tzion continue its leading role in the Dati Leumi Community in Ramat Beit Shemesh. Michael is married to Naomi and have four fantastic boys. Michael is the VP of Marketing for rankabove.com, a leading company specialising in large scale search engine optimization. Michael will be leading the following portfolios over the next year: 1) Fundraising 2) Gabboim Liason and 3) Internal Tzedakah.
Michal Gordon is a new member of the Vaad but not new to the Shul or activities run therein. Michal has been an active member helping and arranging many activities for the Shul in the past. Michal made Aliyah with her family in 2004 settling into the area local to the Shul. Michal is a trained interior designer working on many projects over the years. She is married to Michael and has 5 gorgeous kids! She looks forward to fulfilling her duties within the Shul leading the following portfolios: 1) Events and 2) Welcoming Committee.
Shoshanna Keats Jaskoll was born in the United States and has four fabulous kids and one awesome husband. Shoshanna moved with her family to Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2007. This is her first time serving on the Vaad of the Shul and is looking forward to taking all the credit and non of the blame. Shoshanna is the founder of REACH3K which helps non profits in all avenues of resource development. Shoshanna looks forward to serving the Kehillah over the forthcoming year with the following portfolios: 1) Klai Kodesh, 2) PR and 3) Communications.
Uri Schechterman has been a member since he and his family moved to Ramat Beit Shemesh in 2001. Uri firmly believes that KAT is one of the best Torah communities in the world; filled with warm, chesed-oriented people who are dedicated to Eretz Israel, and feels fortunate to have the devoted and learned Rabbi Copperman as its Rabbi. Uri and his wife Deena have four boys and over the years he has been actively involved in fundraising for the building, so his boys will have places to sit (and be quiet!). Uri is the CEO at Talk’n’Save an international company focused on providing tourist and travellers with mobile communication services. Uri will be undertaking the following portfolios: 1) Fundraising, 2) Membership 3) Welcoming in Shul 4) Library and 5) Email/Communications.
Julian Maurer made Aliyah in 2009 moving with his wife Esther and four kids to Ramat Beit Shemesh. Prior to Aliyah Julian was involved with the North Hendon community in North-West London for 10 years, serving on the board of management for much of that time. Julian is an IT professional with nearly 20 years experience and currently works for Amdocs. Julian looks forward to leading the following portfolios: 1) PR, 2) Membership and 3) Communications. Julian will be involved in all areas requiring communications.
 Zev Jacobson grew up as a supporter of the Springbok rugby team in Johannesburg South Africa and studied at Yeshivat Har Etzion & Bar Ilan University before settling in RBS some six years ago. Zev is married to Sada (nee Cooper) from Melbourne and they have four children who speak Hebrew with an Aussie accent. Zev is a licensed guide and runs his own tour company. This year he will be handling the following portfolios: 1) Rav Liason and 2) Children, Youth and Adult Education. |
מייקל ברנט עלה לארץ מאנגליה ב 1997 ועבר לרמב"ש ב 1999. מייקל הוא חבר בקהילת אהבת ציון מאז יומה הראשון! זוהי כהונתו השנייה בועד וכמה שהוא מרגיש כבוד לשרת את הקהילה הנפלאה הזאת, כך אנו מוקירים לו טובה על כך. מייקל מקווה לבנות על התשתית שהניחו הועדים הקודמים ולעזור לקהילת אהבת ציון להתבסס בתפקיד המנהיגות של הקהילה הדתית-לאומית ברמב"ש. מייקל נשוי לנעמי ואב לארבעה בנים נפלאים. הוא משמש סגן נשיא אחראי על תחום השיווק לחברת rankabove.com, חברה מובילה שמתמחה בייעול מירבי של מנועי חיפוש אינטרנטיים. מייקל יהיה אחראי על התיקים הבאים בשנה הקרובה: 1. גיוס כספים 2. קישור לגבאים 3. צדקה פנים-קהילתית.
מיכל גורדון היא חברה חדשה בועד אבל לא חדשה בקהילה או בהפעלת תוכניות בשבילה. מיכל הינה חברה פעילה וכמו תמיד עוזרת לארגן ולהפעיל תוכניות רבות עבור הקהילה. מיכל עלתה לארץ עם משפחתה ב 2004 והתיישבה באיזור ביה"כ. מיכל הוכשרה להיות מעצבת פנים ועבדה על פרוייקטים רבים במהלך השנים. היא נשואה למייקל ויש לה חמישה ילדים יפהפיים! היא מחכה בכיליון עיניים למלא את תפקידיה בועד: 1. ועדת אירועים 2. ועדת קבלת פנים. המעוניינים להיות מעורבים בעניינים אלו יפנו למיכל.
שושנה קיטס ג'סקול נולדה בארה"ב ויש לה ארבעה ילדים נהדרים ובעל אחד מדהים. היא עברה עם משפחתה לרמב"ש ב 2007. זוהי כהונתה הראשונה בועד של הקהילה והיא מצפה ליטול את כל הקרדיט להצלחות ולא לשאת באחריות לכשלים. שושנה יסדה את REACH3K שעוזרת לגופים ללא מטרת רווח עם כל צרכי פיתוח המשאבים שלהם. שושנה מצפה לשרת את הקהילה בשנה הקרובה בתיקים הבאים: 1. כלי קודש 2. יח"צנות 3. תקשורת
אורי שכטרמן הוא חבר בקהילה מאז שהוא עבר לרמב"ש ב 2001. אורי נחוש בדעתו שקהילת אהבת ציון היא אחת הקהילות התורניות הטובות ביותר בעולם: היא מלאה באנשים חמים ומכווני חסד שמסורים לארץ ישראל. אורי מרגיש בר-מזל שזכינו לרב מסור ומלומד כמו הרב קופרמן. לאורי ואשתו דינה ארבעה בנים ובמהלך השנים אורי היה מעורב בגיוס כספים לבניית הבניין בכדי שיהיו לבניו מקומות לשבת (ולשבת בשקט!). אורי הוא מנהל בתחום הטלקומוניקציה עבור חברת ייעוץ. הוא ייקח על עצמו את התיקים הבאים: 1. גיוס כספים 2. חברות 3. קבלת חברים חדשים 4. ספריית קודש 5. דוא"ל/תקשורת
ג'וליאן מורר עלה לארץ מלונדון ב 2009 עם אשתו אסתר וארבעת ילדיו והתיישב ברמב"ש. קודם עלייתו היה ג'וליאן פעיל בקהילת עדת צפון הנדון בצפון מערב לונדון במשך 10 שנים ושירת בועד ברוב זמנו שם. ג'וליאן הוא מומחה בטכנולוגיית מידע עם כמעט 20 שנות נסיון וכרגע הוא עובד עבור חברת אמדוקס ברעננה. ג'וליאן ייקח על עצמו את התיקים הבאים: 1. יח"צנות 2. חברות 3. תקשורת. ג'וליאן יהיה מעורב בכל התחומים שנוגעים לתקשורת.
זאב ג'ייקובסון גדל כאוהד קבוצת הרוגבי של ספרינבוק ביוהנסבורג, דרום אפריקה ולמד בישיבת הר עציון ואוניברסיטת בר-אילן לפני שהתיישב ברמב"ש לפני שש שנים. זאב נשוי לסדה (לפנים, קופר) ממלבורן, אוסטרליה ויש להם ארבעה ילדים דוברי עברית במבטא אוסטרלי. זאב הוא מדריך טיולים מוסמך ומנהל את חברת הטיולים שבבעלותו. זאב ייקח על עצמו את התיקים הבאים: 1. קישור לרב 2. חינוך ילדים, נוער ומבוגרים |
